Farm safety – Canadian Agricultural Safety Association has Toolbox Talks with safety tips for various activities on the farm. Keystone Agriculture Producers has a new farm safety website.  

Nomination deadline for SaskCanola directors – October 14 is the deadline to get nominations in for the SaskCanola director election. 

Western Forum on Pest Management – October 26-28.  Information and Registration. This year’s meeting is in Grande Prairie, Alberta with an optional networking bus tour for arrivals from Edmonton or Calgary on the 26.

Clubroot soil sample deadline for SaskCanola members – October 31 is the deadline to get clubroot soil samples sent into Discovery Seed Labs. SaskCanola will send out soil sample bags for clubroot, and is still giving out blackleg testing codes. Growers and agronomists can call SaskCanola at 306-975-0262 to get them. 

Canola Week 2022 – December 6-8. Hybrid format, allowing attendees to tune in from their home and offices or attend in person at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel in Saskatoon. Registration will open soon.
