On our Canola Watch planning call for this week, we were wondering “How long can canola seed sit in dry dusty soil before it dies or goes dormant?”
We haven’t found an answer yet. We assume, if conditions are dry, that it could sit there inactive until rain finally moistens the soil, but we’re not sure. Do you have any experience that might provide some insight?
