I was out heavy-harrowing the other day. I wanted to be seeding but the fields weren’t ready. I wanted to spray but it was too windy. So I was itching to do something. Part way through the harrowing job, I asked myself: “Why am I doing this?” I realized then that “Because I want to” wasn’t a good reason. I should ask myself “Why am I doing this?” before I start every job.
