QUIZ – Nutrient deficiency

Nutrient deficiency is showing up in some fields this week. This photo quiz is based on field observations. Can you identify the symptoms?

Diagnosing nutrient deficiency can be a challenge. Many symptoms seem to overlap. Soil tests and tissue tests from healthy areas versus problem areas can provide clues. In some cases the problem can be related more to environment or other pests, not a shortage of nutrients in the soil. Read Accurate diagnosis for effective treatment.
