3. In rainy or windy conditions, how should canola growers and agronomists modify their flea beetle scouting?

Take a break. Flea beetles don’t feed in those conditions.

Look for stem feeding.

Look in the puddles for dead flea beetles.

Flea beetles tend to cluster in the down-wind end of fields.
