Combine settings can be a big factor in reducing harvest losses. Learn how to adjust settings to maximize your harvest potential. Whether you are running brand new equipment or equipment that has years of experience, there will be valuable takeaways to help maximize net return during harvest. Farmer members of Manitoba Canola Growers, Manitoba Crop Alliance and/or Manitoba Pulse & Soybean Growers will receive a rebate of $25 off the ticket price per association to which they’re a member. (Members of all three will get $75 off, making this conference free for them). Register today.

4R Field Tour is coming up July 29th just north of Manitou, Manitoba. This is a joint event hosted by Manitoba Agriculture, Fertilizer Canada and the 4R Industrial Research Chair Program at the University of Manitoba. There will be two group showings at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Participants can earn 2.5 CCA Nutrient credits. Cleanfarms’ <23L pesticide and fertilizer jug recycling program in Alberta and Manitoba will undergo major changes in the next few years to help encourage recycling in these regions. The jug collection sites will transition from municipal landfills and transfer stations to ag retail locations / the point of purchase over the next three years. Growers will now be asked to use container collection bags (available from ag retailers) which make on-farm management of jugs and transportation to a collection site easier. Cleanfarms is offering on-farm pickup of jugs for large farming operations that generate 30+ bags or jugs per year.
