Flea beetles and slow-growing crop. Seed treatment is likely no longer providing protection if canola has been in the ground since mid May. If canola is growing slowly for whatever reason, a foliar spray may be required if flea beetles are still present and feeding on new growth, and if leaf area loss is above the action threshold (25 per cent leaf area loss).
