Having lived on a farm my whole life, it was really thrilling for me to start my career in the canola processing industry when I finished university. Eighteen years later, I’ve held a number of roles in the industry, and it’s really exciting for me to be part of an industry and a value chain where every member is as passionate about the product that we produce as I am. It’s very rewarding at the end of the day to be able to say that I’m producing a product that is contributing to better health, and animal feed products that are contributing to the success of our grower partners and our customer partners. And really at the end of it all, I can feed my children a product that I say I produced, and I’m very proud to do so.
